Day 2 in Taipei (III) (9.3.2006)
thanks for remembering me!
after the long walk at Yang Meng Sun, we went to Dan Shui. Actually we wanted to go to the Hot Spring Valley, but don't wanna miss the sun set at Fishermen's Wharf, so we give the hot spring a miss! take R26 from Dan Shui MRT and we arrived at Fishermen's Wharf. lots of pple there.
after the sun set, we go back to the city for another famous night market - Hua Xi Street (Snake Alley). there are stalls that sell snakes, they show you how they "cut" the snake to get it blood and gall bladder and tell you the usefulness of these stuffs to our health. very strange smell street. this snake alley is just located one street across a famous temple - Long Sha Shi, though is was quite late already but the temple was still full of prayers.

Day 2 in Taipei (II) (9.3.2006)
after the National Palace Museum we head to Yang Meng Sun, which is at the northern part of Taipei.
Spring, lots of flowers bloom, so they have some flowers exhibition over there. Lots of flowers, lots of people (local), it makes photo taking difficult.

Day 2 in Taipei (I) (9.3.2006)
after breakfast we took MRT to Shilin station and change a bus to National Palace Museum.
lots of historical treasures and Buddha statues. there's this Jade White Cabbage and Meat Stone that i found quite interesting after "over heard" their stories... i suppose you need to have some knowledge on this chinese culture and history in order to appreciate all these beautiful sculptures, calligraphy and things back in the Qing Dynasty... both of us don't know much, therefore all these treasures are just some beautiful objects to us. another way is to engage a tour guide there and she will bring you around the museum and tell all the interesting stories behind all these treasures, that was how i "over heard" the cabbage story while the guide was explaining to the visitors.

left-hander
i'm a leftie!
left handers are said to be more forgetful, i agree, cos i'm QUITE forgetful. could it be due to AGE??!!
left handers are said to be good at numbers, but without a calculator, they are just numbers to me!
the world is built for right-handers... even the camera's shutter button is on the right side.
but i quite like the saying "only the left handers think on their right mind!"
are you a right-hander or left-hander?
